Hello, I'm James. I'm a Counsellor based within Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.  I have alongside other counselling qualifications, completed my Level 5 Counselling Diploma and become a Senior Member of the Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypotherapist (ACCPH).

I graduated from Aberdeen University with an MA Hons 2:1 degree in History and International Relations before beginning my career in the public sector where I now have over ten years experience working and helping people of all ages with matters such as anxiety and depression. 

 I believe in being adaptable and flexible to the client's needs and I am fully aware that everyone is different and the most important aspect for me of counselling is to put the client first and find a method to help you achieve your goals.

Whilst I would like to work with people of all ages, I have a particular interest, passion and experience in working with youths who are looking for guidance and support. 

I will be that person to build trust with you in order for you to share your thoughts and feelings so that I can help you to overcome any issues or concerns you are having in a safe and confidential environment with no fear of judgement.
