I am acutely aware of the costs of counselling, and I always try to balance the costs of running a counselling service with making the sessions as affordable as possible.
However, I am aware having a young family myself that even with my relatively low fee, the cost of counselling can be unaffordable, which in turn makes it more difficult to access for far too many people who need it.
As such this year I launched an initiative to generate funding through financial donations from local businesses or donations in the form of items such as vouchers to put into fundraisers.
